Hello my friends,
some things have happened that kept me away from here for a few months.
First my horse died in May after a short illness. There was nothing I could do for him besides putting him down to save him from endless pain.
This hit me too hard to go on as usual after a while.
In June something unexpected positive happened. I wasn't looking, but somehow a nice person found a new horse that fit for me. She showed it to me and got me interested in riding him. Before we got back from the ride I knew that I want this horse and I bought him. This really got me back on my feet, but I spent all the time I could afford on the stables from that point on.
In August my DSLR accidentally fell into a lake, because my new camera vest still lacked a ring to secure the camera from falling.
After that I tried to dry it for more than a week, but after that it only worked for a few minutes. My camera really meant a lot to me, so I didn't know what to do. Originally I wanted to buy a new and better DSLR this year, but after buying myself an horse, I moved this idea to next year. But plans have to be changed again and again sometimes.
After photographing a while with cameras of friends, finally I got my new DSLR. A Canon EOS 5Ds. I also had to get a new lens as wide-angle, because the old cheap one doesn't fit onto the new camera.
Another problem occured shortly after my old camera got damaged. Someone at the stables who really helped me a lot learning new things and trusted me enough to let me work a bit with her horse and let me have her dog for a week while she was away was told bullshit by some other people about me and she lost all her trust in me after a short while, but didn't want to listen to me and now she doesn't talk to me for weeks already.
I'm trying to solve that.
Trying my new camera really drove me back to talk to you here again.
For a longer period of time there will be a chance of me submitting a mix of photos done with my old and my new camera, but this isn't what you should take care about, you should only take care about the things that are in the picture, because that's what the art is about, not the camera I use.
Here is a result of me trying the new one.
